AAMC Online Counseling

  1. Not for High-Risk or Emergency Cases
    • AAMC strictly does not accept clients who are experiencing:
      • Active suicidal or homicidal thoughts
      • Psychotic symptoms
      • Severe psychiatric conditions
      • Current self-harming behaviors (e.g., cutting)
      • Intoxication or crisis-level instability
  2. Ineligibility Declaration
    • If you are currently in a mental health emergency or at risk of harming yourself or others, you must not register for services at AAMC.
    • Please seek immediate help from your local hospital, emergency services, or a crisis intervention center.
  3. No Emergency Intervention
    • AAMC does not provide crisis response, emergency psychiatric care, or hospitalization coordination.
    • Our platform is not designed to support urgent mental health situations.
  4. Limitations of Online Therapy
    • Online therapy has inherent limitations in assessing physical cues and managing emergencies.
    • Clients who need in-person monitoring or clinical supervision are not appropriate for this service.
  5. Service Scope Disclaimer
    • AAMC offers counseling for mild to moderate emotional concerns such as stress, anxiety, life transitions, family issues, and trauma recovery (non-acute).
    • Clients must ensure their condition aligns with this scope before registering.
  6. Client Agreement
    • By registering for services at AAMC, you affirm that:
      • You are not in immediate psychological danger
      • You do not require emergency psychiatric intervention
      • You understand and accept the limitations of online counseling
